Language Programs:
General English: A fun and interactive class that prepares you to use English in the real world. In this course, you will learn how to communicate fluently with English speakers by improving your grammar, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading and writing. There are 6 levels, and students can start every Monday.
IELTS/EAP: An academic course for students who wish to sit the IELTS exam or complete further studies in English. This intensive course will give you the techniques you need to take the IELTS exam and provide you with the academic skills you need to succeed in a higher education context. This course starts every Monday, and the entry requirement is Upper Intermediate+.

Business English: Ideal for people who need to communicate in professional English speaking environments. You will study a range of business related topics, increase your knowledge of key vocabulary and learn skills to operate successfully in the international business community.

A2 (Elementary)
Learners can understand and use very common words and simple sentences about familiar topics when communication is slow and clear. They can read basic texts, speak about simple needs, and write short sentences or fill in forms with personal information.
A2+ (Pre-Intermediate)
Learners can understand the main ideas of short, predictable spoken and written texts on familiar topics. They can take part in simple conversations and write short, connected paragraphs using basic vocabulary and linking words.
B1 / B1+ (Intermediate)
Learners can understand the main points of clear spoken and written texts on familiar, everyday topics. They can take part in conversations, express and briefly support opinions, describe experiences, and write clear paragraphs with appropriate tone and register.
B2 (Upper Intermediate)
Learners can easily understand extended spoken and written texts on a wide range of topics. They can speak fluently, justify opinions clearly, and write well-organised texts such as essays, narratives, and letters that develop arguments and express attitudes.
B2+ / C1 (Advanced)
Learners can understand extended spoken and written texts, including discussions, lectures, and complex factual or literary material. They can communicate fluently and accurately, present well-structured arguments, and produce clear, detailed written texts using a wide range of vocabulary with strong awareness of register and audience.
This is a 10-week intensive course with a unique curriculum available only at Impact, recommended for students who want to build a strong core foundation in high-level English. It’s an intensive program that helps students improve their speaking skills in General English classes while strengthening their grammar and writing skills in Extreme English lessons. This course is especially recommended for students whose scores are not yet high enough to enter IELTS preparation classes.

This five-week intensive course is designed to equip you with the English language skills and practical techniques needed to work in Australia’s vibrant café and hospitality industries. You will gain a deep understanding of Australia’s unique coffee culture and history, while mastering essential café-related English vocabulary, knowledge, and communication skills.
The course includes 20 hours of Barista English classes per week and barista training at an accredited Australian coffee academy, leading to a recognised certification. You will gain hands-on experience at Impact’s Café Impresso and also receive guidance on writing resumes and preparing for interviews to help you in your job search.
