The minimum entry level required for the English Plus Academic Skills course is Completed Lower Intermediate (B1) and higher.
Students receive 20 lessons of General English per week plus one or two Academic Skills electives.

Advanced
Students continue with the core General English component and deepen their focus through the one or two Academic Skills electives.

School is located in San Diego Pacific Beach, just a 5 minute walk away from the beach and pier. Garnett Avenue (main road of Pacific Beach) is just a minute away and offers plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. PB is a great beach neighbourhood with tourist infrastructure but also widely residential. Perfect for young adults.

Homestay is a great option for students who want to practise English every day in a local home environment. CEL San Diego homestays include single or double rooms, breakfast or breakfast and dinner, and are usually 30–75 minutes by bus from school (premium homestay has a shorter commute). It is a good choice for students looking for cultural immersion and extra support while settling in.
